The Financial and Banking Council, International Bank of Azerbaijan in association with the CIS Executive Committee will hold the Sixth Baku International Banking Conference of CIS countries called “CIS capital markets – the basis of economic integration within the CIS community” on November 14-17, 2013.
The Conference agenda will comprise such issues as functioning of the CIS national banking systems under the conditions of globalization of the World financial system, trends of the retail banking services development, scenarios of international economic programs development, in particular the Caspian region, in the frames of CIS, as well as other important issues. Also it is planned to discuss such topics as growth potential of financial institutions under conditions of the slowdown of national economics of CIS countries, factors to increase the investment attractiveness of the CIS countries’ financial sector, the role of human resources in the enhancement of financial institutions performance etc.
The upcoming conference will be attended by representatives of governments and ministries of member states of the CIS, international development institutions, as well as heads of national (central) and the largest banks of the member state of the Commonwealth, Europe and Asia.
